Abstract

Tegoeh Soekasno, 11PSC01382 “The Learning of Writing Letter” (Case Study on Fifth Grade Student on The First Semester of SD Negeri 01 Sewurejo Mojogedang, Karanganyar 2012/2013). Thesis. Postgraduate Program, Widya Dharma University, Klaten. 2015. One kind of student’s writing skill which are taught in Elementary School is writing letter. However the less of Student’s writing skill often can be a serious problem in this time. This research focused on the problem of the learning of writing letter on the fifth grade elementary students. The problem statements of this research are: (1) How does the implementation of the learning of writing letter on the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Sewurejo, Mojogedang, Karanganyar in 2012/2013 which integrated with teacher activity, student, material choosement, the method, media, and evaluation? (2) Why does the learning of writing letter on the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Sewurejo occur as when the researcher conduct observation still has unsuit things? The objectives of this research are: (1) to know the implementation of learning writing letter on the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Sewurejo, Mojogedang, Karanganyar in 2012/2013 academic year which integrated with teacher activity, student, material choosement, the method, media and evaluation (2) to know the cause of the learning of writing letter on the fifth grade students in SD Negeri 01 Sewurejo, Mojogedang, Karanganyar when the researcher conducted observation which still has unsuit things. The research methodologies which are used in this research are qualitative approachment method and the data sources which are used in this research are cooperative learning activity, informant from teacher and students and document source. The techniques of collecting datas are observation, interview and note taking. Based on the data analysis result, it can be conclude that: (1) The implementation of learning of writing letter on the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Sewurejo, Mojogedang, Karanganyar 2012/2013, as follows: (a) the techer makes silabus, promes and the planning of learning implementation (RPP), (b) at the first time teacher informs about Bahasa Indonesia (c) the teacher conducts apperception (d) the students antutiate in learning, (e) the teacher chooses the material according to the objective of learning, (f) uses speechs method,ask and answer,and gives task, (g) uses media such as:whiteboard and letter example, (h) the teacher conducts evaluation. (2) Those can be happened because: (a) Silabus, promes and the planning of learning implementation (RPP) are the preparing of learning, (b) the information to attract student’s attention, (c) gives an emphasizing, (d) the students want to be able to make letter, (e) the teacher guides the student according to the objective of learning, (f) guides the student so that they do’t feel difficulty, (g) media as a support tool, (h) evaluation to know the ability of students in writing letter.
