Abstract

Sri Sujiarti, NIM. 15PSC01682, Learning of Writing Minutes (A Case Study at XI IPA 2 Class of SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan Klaten in the Academic Year of 2016/2017).Thesis. Language Education Study Programme, Graduate Programme, Widya Dharma University Klaten, 2017. The problem statements of this research are: (1) How is the learning process of writing minutes of XI IPA 2 class at SMANegeri 1 Jogonalan Klaten in the academic year of 2016/2017? (2) Why the learning process of writing minutes of XI IPA 2 class at SMANegeri 1 Jogonalan Klaten in the academic year of 2016/2017 is implemented same with the previous observation that have been made? This research is a quality research with cases study type .The data collection is conducted by doing; (1) observation in XI IPA 2 Class of SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan Klaten in the academic year of 2016/2017, on Monday, January 30, 2017; (2) Interview with teh teacher and student to know their opinion for learning of Writting Minutes; and (3) Document to know Silaby, Lesson Plan and Score List. The technique of collecting the data used the seven major steps ofmain data. After the process of providing the main data is completed, the data analysis with five main data analysis steps. The data identify involves 23 data, after the reduction process, there are 20 data obtained as main data. Then the main data is analyzed involving: a) teachers; b) students; c) material; d) learning method; e) assessment. Learning Process in XI IPA 2 class starts from the preliminary stage, core stage and conclusionstage. The students participate in learning activities with the material of writing minutes. The learning methodsare lecturing, discussion and group discussion. The time of learning activities is 90 minutes. Assessment has not been carried out yet. The lesson ends with giving the task to the students. Based on the analysis of primary data units, it can be concluded that learning of writing minutes at XI IPA 2 Class of SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan Klaten in second period of 2016/2017 academic year:the teacher has implemented the learning stages starts from the preliminary stage, core stage and conclusionstage. The students just used textbook and students’ worksheets containing the examples of minutes. Assessment has not been done yet because the learning ends with the task of covering the show on television in the form of dialogue as an assignment xiv in writing the minutes. The learning of writing minutes XI IPA 2 class of SMA Negeri 1 Jogonalan Klaten, the teachers do not use learning resources that are planned, teachers have reflected and given the task as enrichmentstep.
