Abstract

SUGIYARNI NIM: 1312104537. Classroom Action Research Learning Implementation with “DASUS “Strategy in Increasing Learning Motivation and Geography Learning Achievement of Seventh Grade Students in Odd Semester of SMP Negeri 3 Bayat Academic Year 2014/2015. Students’ low motivation will have direct impact on students’ learning achievement .The learning process using DASUS strategy is one of Super learning model which can improve students’ learning motivation and students learning achievement.. The problems formulation are: 1. Is there any progress in social studies learning motivation through Cooperative Approach with “DASUS " strategy in SMP Taman Dewasa, Bayat Klaten ? 2 . Is there any progress on Social Studies Achievement by using DASUS strategy in SMP Negeri 3 Bayat, Klaten? This study aimed to: 1 . Know the progress of Social studies learning motivation through cooperative approach with the “DASUS " strategy in SMP Negeri 3 Bayat, Klaten . 2 . Know the learning achivement progress in learning Social Studies through cooperative approach with the “DASUS " strategy in SMP Negeri 3 Bayat Klaten . This study lasted for 3 weeks from 2nd week of October until 2nd week of November. The study was conducted in three cycles, group work learning method / groups discussion continued with group work presentation. The data of student learning activities, teacher activities and learning activities is obtained through observation and journal research record. Techniques Analysis used in this research was descriptive qualitative analysis. Based on the results of study and discussion showed that “DASUS " learning strategies is able to improve students learnding achievement, either seen from each quiz in every cycle or Daily test before and after DASUS learning. . Learning strategies “DASUS " is also able to increase the students learning activities, so that the teaching learning process is not centered on the teacher again. The Appearance of cooperative skills have also increased, student response was also very good. The average results of tests on the first cycle is 70.63, with individual mastery learning as much as 28 students from 32 students and completeness of classical learning 87.50% in the second cycle average is 72.81 with individual level of mastery learning as many as 31 students and mastery classical learning as much as 96.88 % , for the third cycle average of 73.75 , with individual mastery level 32 and level of mastery in the classical 100 % .
