Abstract

The learning of language and Indonesian literature by using anecdote as an expression of glad, tight, sad, icebreaker, and waste weary to be healthy is one of strategies to make learning situation to be conducive. Although the teacher is good or clever, but if he never gives joke or anecdote in his learning, it can make the tiring condition, indeed it can make students do not learn in seriously. Giving anecdote in the learning process is one of ways to make the student laugh and know what the teachers teach. In the smiling situation (especially laugh), people know that laugh indicates happy, no sad, (read: they forget their sadness), glad, no difϔiculties, and another things which there is a relation with happiness). If they can make conducive situation, the learning process will be successful. It means that student can understand what the teachers teach. Keywords: learning, joke, spoof, anecdote, conducive
