Abstract

Agus supriyanto. NIM. 13 PSC 01585 LEARNING HEARED FAIRYTALE APPRECIATION (Case Study in The Seventh Grade Students of MTs Negeri Karangmojo, Gunungkidul Academic Year 2013/2014). Tesis. Language Department, Post Graduate Program , Widya Dharma University Klaten.2014. Problem formulation in this study were: (1) How learning “fairytale appreciation” implemented in MTs Negeri Karangmojo, Gunungkidul?, (2) Why such a case occurs in learning "fairytale appreciation" in MTs Negeri Karangmojo, Gunungkidul?. The theoretical basis of this research are learning, teacher competence in managing the learning process, curriculum, literature appreciation, appreciation of prose fiction, fairy tales, listening and case studies. The results of data analysis in this study are: teacher dominated learning activities, the methods used in teaching are lectures, teachers do not use the electronic media both visual and audio-visual equipment, learning materials and relevant to meet the standards of competence and basic competences, attractive for students, has point of view is clear and unequivocal, learning evaluation done yet objective, comprehensive and sustainable. Based on the analysis described in Chapter IV, the study conclusions can be drawn: (1) In learning to appreciate the tale that is played in MTs Negeri Karangmojo, Gunungkidul, teachers dominate the learning activity, students pay less attention to learning, the methods used are lectures, not use of electronic media both visual and audio-visual equipment, learning materials is good and appropriate, and evaluation of learning has not been objective, comprehensive and sustainable. (2) Learning to appreciate the tale in MTs Negeri Karangmojo, Gunungkidul occur as mentioned above due to: lack of understanding of teachers 'instructional strategies, teachers are less proficient in the classroom and less effective control of motivating students, and students' intrinsic motivation is not maximized, too many teachers use lecture method, that method in learning Implementation Plan is not used, the school has not provided instructional media both visual and audio-visual and teachers do not attempt to use, the material meets the standards and competencies relevant to the subject and basic competencies to be achieved, and evaluation not objective, comprehensive and sustainable, because it is constrained by time.
